How Do I Add Competitors to the Marketplace Overview?

Adding competitors to Bazoom’s Marketplace Overview is a valuable feature that enables you to gain insights into your competition’s link-building efforts. By monitoring your competitors, you can identify backlink opportunities, discover high-performing media outlets, and refine your strategy to maintain a competitive edge in your industry.

Steps to Add Competitors

1. Ensure Your Domain is Added to the Marketplace

Before you can add competitors, your own domain must be registered in the marketplace. This ensures that you can make meaningful comparisons and leverage the full potential of the competitor analysis feature.

  • Add domain: Go to the Marketplace and click "Add domain" in the top left corner.

2. Navigate to the Marketplace Overview

Once your domain is added, go to the Marketplace Overview section. This is where you can monitor different metrics and insights related to link building opportunities.

3. Locate the Competitors Column

In the Marketplace Overview, you will find the Add competitors column. This section allows you to manage the competitor domains you want to track.

4. Add Competitor Domains

You have two options for adding competitor domains:

  • Manually enter competitor URLs: If you have a few specific competitors in mind, enter their website URLs one by one.

  • Bulk upload competitor domains: If you want to track multiple competitors at once, you can upload a list of competitor URLs.

5. Save and Monitor Competitor Insights

Once the competitor domains are added, the system will begin tracking their backlinks. This will provide you with insights into the websites linking to your competitors, allowing you to identify potential backlink opportunities for your own link-building strategy.
